Well as the name goes, its a 300 km ride and the only meal which fueled it is the 3 idlyis in the morning. This is basically the combination of the Tindivanam and Pondicherry rides above.
One more person, Vijay Srinivas was supposed to join me till Tindivanam. Started the ride at 6am and caught up with Vijay at vandaloor by 7 am. We had a nice chatty ride but I was more of a listener to his crazy ride stories. Soon after, the Sun gave its attendence and there was heavy headwind. After a while Vijay was struggling on my draft, so we stopped for breakfast and had the infamous 3 Idlyis! We started soon after but Vijay's legs had some problems and he started considering turning back. Since he was going to attempt the bangalore 1000 brevet, he turned back at 30 Kms before Tindivanam.
Soon after, almost for the next two hours, I spent every minute cursing the site above for the wrong predictions and there were some intense Headwinds. The Killer heat and headwinds were bringing in the "go back by bus" though in my head time n again. Just when I was almost about to give up, A tractor passes me travelling at 25kmph! Swiftly I got on its tail and it saved me for almost for 35 kms! I had bought some biscuits so never felt the need to take a break. This was totally new type of riding for me. Basically, if I keep going at 25kmph having biscuits and water, I can increase my mileage much more without breaks.
Soon after, I reached auroville and the usual catching up with my friends there.

After bidding goodbyes, I started off on the ECR back to chennai which was 120 kms after 20 kms, I had some biscuits and maaza and slice. Filled up my bottles with chilled mineral water and bought two 5 rupee biscuits in my jersey.
And the next 100kms, I didnt stop! This was my longest run without any breaks! I did the 100kms to my home in about 3 hours and 55 mins. The good part was there was full tail wind throughout and the climate was very nice.
Finally, some 10kms before before my home, I called up dominos and ordered pizza to celebrate the ride as well! Overall, lots of stuff learnt and a good ride. I reached home by 8.30 pm, finding the pizza guy waiting for me
